UniCourt Selected as a Finalist for the 2024 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards
on Topics: News
Changing the way the legal industry thinks about and leverages legal data requires vision, tenacity, and a determination to upend a long-standing paradigm from legacy providers of what’s possible.
As the original Legal Data as a Service (LDaaS) company providing real-time court data and legal analytics, UniCourt’s API-first approach continues to shape the way the legal industry views what’s possible with legal data, enabling Am Law firms and Fortune 500 companies to find new business opportunities, optimize litigation strategies and outcomes, and power innovative solutions.
We’re thrilled to share that UniCourt has been selected as a Finalist for not one but two categories in the 2024 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards for Best Emerging Technology (Non-AI) and Practice Management Innovation.
In this blog post, we’ll provide some added background on ALM’s Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards, share more about the categories UniCourt was selected as a Finalist in, and highlight other Finalists who have made a significant impact on the legal industry.
About the Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards
This year’s fourth annual Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards is dedicated to honoring “individuals and organizations for their achievements in innovation over the past year in a wide range of categories across law firms, legal departments, and technology providers.”
The Leaders in Tech Law Awards were originally developed as an expansion of ALM’s California Leaders in Tech Law, which centered on recognizing “corporate legal departments, firms, and outside providers that were doing interesting and innovative work primarily for the tech industry in Silicon Valley.” By broadening the scope of the awards nationwide, ALM sought to look at the greater spectrum of work occurring in the legal space, moving beyond a tech industry-focused lens to a wider view of innovation taking place in other areas of law.
The 2024 Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Awards includes several categories across three groups: (1) Law Firms, (2) In-House, and (3) Providers. Here are the 2024 categories for Providers:
