From Dockets to Decisions: UniCourt and Litera Host Webinar on Managing Litigation Experience

On September 24, 2025, UniCourt co-hosted a webinar with their integration partner Litera to showcase the integration between UniCourt and Litera’s Foundation. The webinar featured Josh Blandi (Co-founder and CEO of UniCourt), Barry Solomon (Vice President of Client Value and Innovation at Litera), and Wade Malone (Principal Product Manager at UniCourt).

They demonstrated how the UniCourt-Foundation integration can enhance a law firm’s business development and enable them to create RFP responses quickly and reliably. Together, they shared the innovative advantages the partnership can bring to users inside a law firm’s marketing, knowledge management, and business development teams by automatically capturing the firm’s litigation experience in past, new, and ongoing cases.

“[Litigation data] typically lies in courts, which is what we consider to be the source of truth about what’s been recorded regarding a matter,” said Josh Blandi. “This is where UniCourt comes in. [Our] litigation data and analytics platform [delivers] highly structured docket data to wherever you want it. Some of those use cases can be in first-party applications that we build, and other use cases—they fit perfectly in products like Foundation.”

“Foundation has a lot of the tools you need, but then you need UniCourt’s litigation data,” added Wade Malone. “Litigation can take years. Things don’t change until they change all at once. [People] are not built for keeping up with or entering this kind of data. So don’t bother. Automate it. What this also means is no more firm-wide emails asking about experience in X case type before Judge Y in Court Z.”

Barry Solomon also commented on the amazing potential this partnership brings: “Foundation has always supported litigation, but getting the right data in was a challenge. Our partnership with UniCourt changes that. Now firms can easily tap into their litigation experience and turn it into actionable insight.”
