About Contract Cases in the Sacramento County Superior Court

A contract is a lawfully binding agreement between two or more parties, formed as the result of an offer, acceptance, and consideration. When any of the parties to the contract do not perform their obligations, a party may file a contract lawsuit. Parties may also file a declaratory action when they anticipate a breach of contract and want the court to define their rights and obligations in advance of an issue arising.
