Why use UniCourt to search for cases in the Western District of Arkansas?

Finding the court records you need for the Western District of Arkansas from the Public Access to Court Electronic Records, or PACER, can be costly, challenging, and slow.

In contrast, UniCourt gathers court data for all of the new federal civil cases in the Western District everyday and provides you with the ability to search through all of those new case filings in our CrowdSourced Library™ without excessive fees. UniCourt also gives you real-time, bulk access to the entire PACER database of civil and criminal federal court data from the Arkansas Western District through our PACER API. Unlike UniCourt, PACER charges for every case search you make on their platform, even if the search terms you used do not produce any usable information. PACER does not limit the cost of each case search you make, meaning you could be charged exorbitant fees for searches that return bad results.

In addition to PACER’s expensive case search fees, PACER also charges court document fees. PACER charges 10 cents per page and claims that these fees are capped at $3, but they can be much higher for access to court transcripts. PACER further forces users to pay additional fees if they want to download the same document multiple times. On the other hand, if UniCourt has a document you need from the Arkansas Western District in our CrowdSourced Library™, you can download it for free as many times as you’d like.

In addition to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, UniCourt gives you access to court records for the other U.S. District Court in Arkansas, the Eastern District of Arkansas. UniCourt also provides you with bulk access to all federal court records within Arkansas, such as cases filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit at the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse in St. Louis, Missouri, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Arkansas. Beyond federal court records across the State of Arkansas, UniCourt further provides you with access to Arkansas state court records for all of the counties included in the Eastern District Arkansas: Benton County, Washington County, Sebastian County, Garland County, and White County.

UniCourt’s industry-leading Legal Data APIs provide Enterprise users with on-demand, bulk access to structured data from Arkansas state and federal courts. UniCourt collects, organizes, standardizes, and normalizes court data from all federal courts and makes it easily accessible via our APIs as a part of our Legal Data as a Service (LDaaS) offerings for business development, competitive intelligence, litigation strategy, and docket management.
