Plaintiffs’ attorney of record, Peter A. Hosharian, Esq. (“Counsel”), moves to be relieved as counsel for each of Plaintiff Amal Abdulla (“Abdulla”) and Ghalib Naaom (“Naaom”) (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) asserting that irreconcilable differences have arisen between Counsel and Plaintiffs. Counsel declares he served the moving papers on Plaintiffs via mail at Plaintiffs’ last known address. Counsel has filed proof of service on Plaintiffs and on Defendant.

The motions are unopposed and granted; the ruling is effective upon filing proof of service of the final orders, containing the correct upcoming hearing and trial dates in the case, on Plaintiffs and Defendant. The Court notes the next scheduled matter is a Final Status Conference set for June 27, 2023, and trial is not scheduled until July 11, 2023. Therefore, there is sufficient time for Plaintiffs to seek other counsel or otherwise prepare for trial.

Counsel is ordered to give notice.

Plaintiffs Amal Abdulla and Ghalib Naaom (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) filed the instant motion to continue to trial on October 24, 2022, seeking to continue the previous trial date of December 6, 2022, to June 12, 2023, or a date thereafter. The same date this motion was filed the Court signed and filed a stipulation by the parties continuing the trial date to July 11, 2023.

To date, no party has filed anything further pertaining to the motion to continue trial. Therefore, the Court presumes the motion is moot and takes it off calendar. The Court asks counsel to promptly take all matters off-calendar when they become moot.

Plaintiffs are ordered to give notice.
