{"id":3720,"date":"2021-09-30T06:35:02","date_gmt":"2021-09-30T14:35:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/be.unicourt.internal:9878\/site-blog\/?p=3720"},"modified":"2022-11-21T05:41:50","modified_gmt":"2022-11-21T13:41:50","slug":"campbell-law-innovation-institute","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/unicourt.com\/blog\/campbell-law-innovation-institute\/","title":{"rendered":"UniCourt Heads to the Campbell Law Innovation Institute Launch Event"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We\u2019re excited to share that UniCourt is heading to the inaugural Launch Event of the Campbell Law Innovation Institute (CLII) on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Campbell Law School in downtown Raleigh, NC, and that you\u2019re invited to attend in-person or virtually for free.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.ie\/e\/legal-innovation-and-legal-education-launch-event-tickets-175537305807?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>RSVP for the CLII Launch Event<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Campbell Law Innovation Institute<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Innovation Institute was recently <a href=\"https:\/\/news.campbell.edu\/articles\/campbell-law-school-launches-innovation-institute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">launched in April of this year<\/a>, and is \u201cfocused on the myriad of issues raised by the use of advanced technologies in the delivery of legal services, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and quantum computing.\u201d CLII is centered on \u201cinvestigating and teaching the perspectives, theories, and practical means to prepare lawyers and students to address the profound changes that new technologies are bringing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From its inception, UniCourt has been a data partner and Advisory Board member of CLII and our Director of Content &amp; Data Acquisition, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jeffcoxesq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jeff Cox<\/a>, a Campbell Law alumni, is the current Chair of the CLII Advisory Board.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Jeff shared back in April, \u201cThe Innovation Institute addresses a critical component of pushing for progress in the legal profession: educating legal professionals on leading technology solutions and how to make the most of advances in AI and big data to build more robust, rewarding and profitable law practices, while better serving the clients in their community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UniCourt\u2019s role with CLII is concentrated on providing law students with access to AI normalized legal data and our Legal Data APIs to teach the next generation of legal professionals the latest in legal technology for business development, competitive intelligence, knowledge management, and process automation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why You Should Attend the CLII Launch Event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are searching for a who\u2019s who of legal innovators speaking about the future of law, look no further than the CLII Launch Event.
