We are making this release as part of our ongoing mission to enhance our user experience and to improve access to legal data, and, more specifically, <a href=\"https:\/\/unicourt.com\/features\/legal-data-api\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bulk access to legal data<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this new release, users will be able to quickly download a CSV file containing the most important information related to each case from their search results, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Case Name<\/li><li>Case Number<\/li><li>Case Type<\/li><li>Case Status<\/li><li>Filing Date<\/li><li>Jurisdiction<\/li><li>Courthouse<\/li><li>Judges&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/li><li>Parties<\/li><li>Attorneys<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to these data points and more, we also provide users with a direct link to the case in our application, so they can easily get more information on the dockets and documents available for a case to drill down even further.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Export Your Case Search Results<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Exporting your case search results into a CSV file is a breeze. All you have to do is follow five easy steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 1: First and foremost, you need to get the best search results possible. When you are conducting your search, make sure to use the initial search options to clarify whether you are searching for a party, attorney, judge, or docket entry. Once you conduct your search it\u2019s also important to narrow your search results by utilizing UniCourt\u2019s search filters, such as jurisdiction, filing date, case type, and dollar amount.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/96rNW5wbCqBpDMo5DuGfbyRXhOiYUZtbMIOnieWOZH7qqGDncDsABw_dKiqlHPOZZ0-PnJBt_tzUDzht07x0sJitIG2UgzAE77F87-RVkGH2cUuvJ4SnUB4miIy5vxrtGciBSGs\" alt=\"narrow your search results by utilizing UniCourt\u2019s search filters\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 2: Once you have conducted your search and narrowed down your results to what you are interested in, select the cases you want to export. If you want to export all of the cases from your search results, you do not need to individually select every search result, and can skip to step three.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 3: &nbsp;Click on the \u201cOptions\u201d dropdown, and then hover over \u201cExport Cases\u201d and choose between \u201cExport Selected Cases\u201d or \u201cExport All Cases\u201d to get information on the cases you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/unicourtcache.s3.amazonaws.com\/production\/blog_resources\/uploadsproduction\/blog_resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/28054043\/Showing-results-for-Wells-Fargo.jpg\" alt=\"Export All Cases\" class=\"wp-image-2212\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 4: Name your file and choose between \u201cOne Row Per Case\u201d or \u201cOne Row Per Party\u201d to format your export. These options are exactly what they sound like. If you want to have each case on a single row in your CSV file with all of the parties included on that single row, choose the \u201cOne Row Per Case\u201d option.\u201d However, if you are interested in seeing each party separately listed on its own row, or if there is a large number of parties and it is easier to wade through your results with each party getting its own row, choose the \u201cOne Row Per Party\u201d option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/unicourtcache.s3.amazonaws.com\/production\/blog_resources\/uploadsproduction\/blog_resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/28053823\/Export-Results1.jpg\" alt=\"choose between \u201cOne Row Per Case\u201d or \u201cOne Row Per Party\u201d to format your export\" class=\"wp-image-2211\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 5: The final step is to confirm your case export and download your CSV file from \u201cExports\u201d once it has been processed. You will also receive an email from UniCourt as soon as your file is ready to download, with a direct link to your file.
