UniCourt\u2019s core mission is to improve access to court records and other public records, and make them more organized and meaningful for our clients and the public at large. We carry forward that mission each month by continually adding more and more state courts systems into our application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month, we added new courts from both California<\/a> and Florida<\/a> into our database.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of our push to improve access to court records across California, we recently added Butte County Superior Courts<\/a> into our system. Our clients can now access both civil and criminal court records from Butte County within UniCourt.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we have already been providing access to criminal court records across a number of jurisdictions, we have not always specifically identified this online. To help our clients determine what court records we have available, we will begin making more specific reference to whether or not we provide access to both civil and criminal courts for each of the jurisdictions within our application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UniCourt has long had a specific focus on improving access to California trial court records, because the vast majority of court cases in California, as well as other states across the United States, occur at the trial court level. However, based on user feedback and a growing demand for appeals courts in California, we are currently working to bring the California Courts of Appeal and the California Supreme Court online in our application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with our strides in California, UniCourt has remained committed to onboarding additional court systems across Florida to make court records more accessible and useful across the Sunshine State. This month, we brought online five new court systems from Florida:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
